Chick Flicks Hangover

My Dearest Future Boyfriend,

I hope the future is just around the corner. I'm not looking for just any relationship, I'm looking for "the one" (a reason why they say I'm too picky). I know you're out there somewhere. I may have probably met you. I do not really know.

I want to inform you that I love hugs and you'll be getting a lot from me. I sing not only in the shower but whenever I hear a familiar tune. Please excuse the times that I might be singing out of tune. Hey! we can do videoke together. I like to watch chick flicks but I'm willing to watch action and horror movies with you. I have an eclectic taste in music. I listen to alternative, pop, rock, techno, country, classical and even some jazz. I may be a little crazy at times, please bear with me. When you see me cry, just lend me your shoulders. Don't worry about giving lame jokes, it really is easy to make me laugh. I'm not a picky eater, I eat almost anything even "balut". I love Italian and Mexican food and desserts (e.g chocolates, korean ice cream and cakes). I enjoy going to bookstores and I like having new books. I read during my free time. I love walking through parks. Breathing some fresh air and the greenery makes me feel relaxed. I also love going to the beach even if I don't know how to swim. I like wearing swim wears, bikini tops and all that jazz. I feel sexy with those teeny weeny stuff on (feeler! haha). I used to think I'm made for sunny days but lately I realize rainy days can be as fun too! Just two weeks ago I tried bathing in the rain again (the last time I did I was still in grade school). We'll go to those places and do things together, right?

Did I already tell you I'm super affectionate, I hope that doesn't scare you. I'll be your cheer leader, gym spotter, personal shopper and stylist (only if you want to). I'd cook for you just don't expect that much. Heck! I'd volunteer to be your personal assistant when I have the time and you need one (just don't abuse your rights). I may not be the perfect future girlfriend but I would try to be the best for you. I'd give you all my love. I won't ever lie to you or cheat on you. I know how it feels to be cheated on and it's not a very pleasant experience. Let's do our best to make each other happy.

You are so worth the wait. I thank God for giving me a man like you, a fit gentleman who can carry a good conversation and you aren't bad to look at either. You're what I've been praying for. I hope you feel lucky to have me too.

Love,

France

Burning House

If your house was burning what would you take with you? Say, the members of your family are already out of danger. What are the things you'll carry in your bag. Here's mine:
pink Syrup wedges (i feel pretty whenever i wear them)
plaid Ralph Lauren buttondown shirt (i consider it my "lucky" shirt)
Spanish-English dictionary (i want to relearn the language)
passport
hardbound notebook, lollipop ballpen, Maybelline lipstick and mineral cream (all four are always in my bag; the notebook and ballpen for writing down my thoughts, i also doodle when i'm bored; the lipstick and cream to prettify myself despite the tragedy)
HP mini  (all my important files are kept here)
- the gold flower ring with a teeny weeny diamond (mama gave it to me when i was in highschool and i never took it off since then)
Fossil watch (given by a friend, this one and the ring i ALWAYS wear)
Suzuki harmonica (the only musical instrument i can play but i'm not that good)
black scarf with gold print (something fashionable to wipe the tears from my eyes)

* not included in the photo are my early fashion plates, Prang watercolor set and Sakura brushes. and yes, Aki the dog.

Partaaay!

I should have posted this entry a week ago. It has been in my drafts for quite some time now.
So here, I decided to finish it up.

The theme of our company Christmas Party is Alice in Wonderland. Thus, the costumes.
Kayelle, our ex-officemate, went to our party that day. And she said, she thought she woke up in Fairytale Land.

Hannah as the Caterpillar
Koo as Alice
Kika and Ani as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum

Sir Melvs as Lady Gaga with the Solo boys as back-up dancers.

me as Alice and I brought with me the white rabbit

Can you tell where the Mad Hatter is? How about Red Riding Hood?

I love music and I can't imagine myself living in a world without it!
An intro for this second party. Party with Jam Shoutboxers held at Mogwai.
They are people who listen to the same kind of music as I do, the songs being played in Jam 88.3 that is.
(I also like house, pop and rnb aside from alternative)

guys and gals of shoutbox

lotsa bottles of tanduay ice and san mig were emptied

I sure had fun that night.
I was there from 7pm to 3am!

By just looking at the photo below, one can guess the theme of the party.
Right! It's a beauty pageant.

nomnoming before the program starts
no, I don't plan on snatching the sash
I was the one tasked to award the sash to Ms. Congeniality

Kat, Koo, Kika and France (that's me alright!)

I don't know how to end this post. Oh I remember with a period. Haha.

New Addiction -> LOOKLET

I know, Looklet is not that new. Actually, I already have an account since early 2009. But it's just recently that I started becoming active. I made a new account last December 6, 2010, and from that day on, I see to it that I create at least one look per day. (But during the last week of December, I was in some kind of Looklet hiatus because I have been busy in real life).

I'm pretty sure you know what Looklet is or at least have heard of it. It is the worlds first digital styling studio. It is like an improved Polyvore. There are lotsa clothes and accessories from different brands/ designers to choose from. One can choose from 27 different models to wear the ensembles created. Plus, you can choose from 115 backgrounds to complete the overall look and feel. If one wishes, 84 effects provided such as light boost or retro print can be used to stylize the set created.

So far, I have created 17 looks. Here are some of my favorites

The 3F's - fun, flirty and fashionable, the magic of a maxi-dress.

I should have named the look The Lady in Red instead of Merry Happy. Haha!

The look Pretty Reckless is Taylor Momsen-inspired. It's the name of her band.

I know, the bunny ears trend is sooo 2009, early 2010 and has been introduced in the Louis Vuitton 2009 Fall Collection. but I still find them ears cute! And rompers, that one-piece wonder, is love!

Technically, I still am a newbie in Looklet. So far I only have 11 likes and 4 followers. Not bad I think.
Will end my post here and start creating a new look. Ciao!
